Feeling that cold breeze alone brought me chills, but realizing the history of where I was sitting , kept me speechless and a persistent piercing knot in my stomach.
Dachau Concentration Camp, a place that cannot even be described in words or pictures, but merely by the raw emotion felt when standing on the open ground where so many lives were parished. Personally, I am so enthralled by European history, mainly during the 1930-1940 time period, WWII. And this past summer I was given an oppurtunity to go to Germany, which I immediatley accepted with much anticipation. The beauty I saw there was so incredible, but the one moment that sticks out the most to me is the few hours I went and visited the concentration camp. I could try my best to describe what it was like, but it impossible. The whole day I was speechless...
